"What you done / Lock
Jaw"
12" - CAP006

What you done starts with
a smooth, melodic introduction. The track draws you

Hard-hitting snares and chilling keyboard stabs give
this track a vibrant flow to the breakdown, then its
another all hell breaks loose rollout. Straight
off, Lock Jaw is a brain-splitter! Intense
drum paterns ride on top of one plump bassline! It all
ends in a huge, throbbing mash-up. First blow the smoke
away, then RELOAD!!

David Kristian
"Meganymph vs. Micronymph
Ep"
12" - WKD003
|
"With the release of an eclectic
series of records that range from abstract sound design
to IDM/Techno, Montreal wunderkind David Kristian has
made a name for himself as the master of all things
analog. His latest 12" finds him creating dystopic
synth tracks inspired by early new wave, and are in
a vein similar to releases on Suction Records or his
own earlier work, Beneath the Valley of the Modulars.
All three tracks evoke the dread and pessimism that
pervaded early new wave, combining retro-futuristic
synth melodies with oppressive, relentless, skittering
beats. An apt soundtrack to late-night future-angst."

Nuskool Players feat. LATE
"This is the Sound"
12" - WKD002
|
"Two step breakbeats with drum'n'bass
instrumentation fill out the track as UK rap vocalist
LATE takes center stage and joins TRICKSTA and PEZ (
aka Nuskool Players ) for a late-night jam session.
Great Vocals and hard analog synth and bass hooks will
catch the crowd. The flip side has no vocals for those
who want just the music. Montreal, Quebec keepin' it
real!" 4/5, Simply Jeff, BPM Magazine
